There is a kind of ugliness that seems reasonable,
But so far people have not found a language to reveal it
They do despicable things in the name of justice
and dig graves from the spine of the earth downwards.
What they hold in their arms are not their wives and children
but are murderous weapons
Gaza became a human prison.
However, on another coast of the sea
someone yawned and sang Christmas carols
Plan to find nourishment on the scorched earth
After feeding it into the scorpion’s mouth,
remove the rotten parts
and turn the rest into a crown.

Ada semacam keburukan yang tampaknya wajar,
Namun sejauh ini masyarakat belum menemukan bahasa untuk mengungkapkannya
Mereka melakukan hal-hal tercela atas nama keadilan
dan menggali kuburan dari tulang punggung bumi ke bawah.
Yang mereka pegang bukanlah istri dan anak-anak mereka
tapi merupakan senjata pembunuh
Gaza menjadi penjara manusia.
Namun, di pantai lain
seseorang menguap dan menyanyikan lagu-lagu Natal
Merencanakan untuk mencari makanan di bumi yang hangus
Setelah memasukkannya ke dalam mulut kalajengking,
Membuang bagian yang busuk
dan mengubah sisanya menjadi mahkota.
